Quitt. Quinn’s second year in Yale, she is supposed to spend Thanksgiving in Lima, but Judy cancels on her (new guy? secret love affair with Santana? who knows) and Quinn feels like she would intrude on the Pierces, so she stays in her dorm. But Britt will have none of it and surprise visits her. They need to eat and then there is early snow which means snow angels and a snow fort and such… because this should be cute.
notes: so i’ve been playing with an alternate season 4 idea, where quinn stays in lima because when she was still in a wheelchair she’d deferred her yale offer, and she and brittany end up together. eventually i’ll finish that, but here’s thanksgiving of the following year, when they’re both freshman on opposite sides of the country.

“Don’t eat too much turkey; remember last year?” she says into the phone, and gets a sigh in reply.
Quinn couldn’t bring herself to do it over Skype, to look at Brittany’s face when she told her they wouldn’t be able to spend the holiday together. It’s not quite their anniversary, but it’s close. Very close, if Quinn thinks about when they stopped clinging to one another, all sharp angles butting against each other, and started bending into one another with flat plains that fit neatly.
From graduation to graduation, Brittany wasn’t the only one who had spent the time learning.
