That Hemo pic Kevin tweeted is giving me feels. Like, Brittany is in bed with Poppy on one side and Tony on the other reading Harry Potter to them before bed but they aren't impressed because she isn't doing all the voices right. So Poppy calls Sam from downstairs "Daaaaaaaad, you need to come do the voices again" (this is a regular occurrence in their household). The kids fall to sleep and Britt whispers, smiling "you are so good with them" "Always the the of surprise" Sam replies with a wink

“Moooom, it itches,” Poppy whines, scraping her fingers against the blotchy red marks on her arm. They’re on day four of the chickenpox, and her third day off work to look after her.
“I know, Poppet, but try not to scratch okay?” Brittany says, she leans over and tucks the blanket a little more firmly around her legs, making sure she’s warm enough.

They’re sitting side by side on the plastic chairs outside the principle’s office when Santana gets there, both of them looking sheepish. Tony swings his legs, wriggling nervously as Joseph twists his hands together.
“Joseph Lopez-Berry,” Santana says quietly, and watches him duck his head.
“Hi mom,” he mumbles, kind of reluctantly.
Tony glances at them out of the corner of his eye and gulps when Santana turns to look at him. “Your dad is on the way too, mister.”
“Yes, Auntie Santana,” he says softly.
“So which one of you two geniuses decided it was a good idea to hide Stephen Sabowitz’s clothes when he was in the shower?”
They glance at each other, so quick Santana almost misses it before they both say, “Me.”
“You’re really doing the Spartacus thing?” Santana says, glaring down at them both.
Joseph just looks at her, setting his jaw stubbornly in that way that’s all Rachel. Tony shivers in his seat, and looks down at his feet.
“Well I guess we’ll just have to throw you both to the lions then,” Santana sighs, and goes to knock on the principle’s door.

It’s their first day and she’s not nervous. Not at all.
“Relax,” Brittany whispers next to her, and that’s fine but she’s already done this once and knows what to expect. Rachel had spent an hour reassuring her the night before but it still feels so weird to just drop their kid off somewhere and trust people she’s never met to look after him.

BASICALLY i just give characters fictional children now. that’s what i do. all the children, all of the time.
(actually a lot of anons started asking me pezberry questions and i started writing ficlets and then we got onto babies and then i developed an elaborate headcanon based off of my pezberry/bram fic Capsized and then i crowdsourced a babyfic. shit happens)
